HyLupin delivers a versatile fibre alternative for a wide range of horses. Being low in sugar and starch it is ideal for overweight and laminitic horses and ponies.

 

Made from Australian grown lupin hulls, HyLupin contains important amino acids essential for your horse’s health and function. Designed to be soaked and fed as a mash, HyLupin is also a great option for older horses or those with poor dentition.

 

HyLupin is suitable for:

• Overweight and Laminitic horses/ponies

• Horses and Ponies prone to ulcers, EMS and other metabolic conditions

• Feeding as a fibre alternative to most horse’s diets

Feeding Guide & Daily Feeding Rates

 Must be fed soaked, at a ratio of 2 parts water to 1 part HyLupin. Soak for at least 10 mins for a mash like consistency. Feed within 12 hours of soaking. Adjust the below feeding rates according to horse’s size and workload. To be fed in conjunction with other roughage/ concentrates.

Introduce slowly to the diet over the course of 2 weeks minimum. Provide fresh clean water at all times.

*Amounts below are Kilograms (dry weight) HyLupin to be fed per day 

 

*total Lupin hull intake should not be more then 2kg/day per 500kg horse.
