In 2020 I started the rodeo season off well with some nice runs at Lawrence rodeo in NSW and Stanthorpe rodeo in QLD. When the pandemic came about, everyone had to step back which left us with no rodeos to go too. As the months passed, I was able to run two successful barrel racing jackpots in Warwick with the QBRA & ABHA, I received high nomination numbers and was really pleased with how the jackpots brought people to the local area.
This year, my good competition horse Cooper has had some time off, and a recent surgery. He is currently recovering, but this has encouraged my young horse Darcy to step up. We competed in divisional barrel racing late this year with the QBRA, competed in our first campdraft (and receiving a score in the camp!) and started arena roping calves. Darcy is improving in leaps and bounds with many divisional placings, he recently ran third overall at a barrel race in Pittsworth, in his first 5 months of competition.
I am very excited to see where Darcy’s future takes us! Hyfeed has been a great asset to my horses, they look and perform at their absolute best. I am very proud to represent the brand and have since converted many fellow competitors to Hyfeed.
I’d like to thank Hyfeed for their continuous support in my horses careers!
