Even though 2020 was a non-event as far as showing and competitions went, for me it didn’t slow down, consisting of a lot of hard work.

This year I started riding track work for Jake Capewell at Bahram every morning before my full time job. I have learned so much and become a better rider for it and had a lot of fun educating the babies. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

I managed to get to a handful of shows this year, taking Honey Toast to three ag shows for three Supreme Champion Led wins, two t-shirt hack days for two more Supreme Champion wins and the Equestrian Queensland Thoroughbred Feature Show for two wins and a second placing.

We also competed in some online shows, coming away with numerous Champions, a Supreme Champion Hack and a Supreme Champion Led win. They were well run and such a great idea to keep everybody motivated and give us all something to look forward to.

I was very disappointed to not be able to get to any more events (along with everyone else in Australia) and it is safe to say I am chomping at the bit to get to the 2021 shows with Honey Toast. He has had a nice holiday and we are ready to get back into it and give it our all in 2021. I plan on attending all of the local ag shows and Toowoomba and Brisbane Royal.

Thank you Hyfeed for your constant support throughout what has been a tough year for us all. I am super grateful for your sponsorship and look forward to 2021!
